  • Our speciality is training junior lawyers to improve their business development and marketing skills. Often we found this group is overlooked with training investment going to Partner level. It can take years of practice to hone your skills and we believe the strength of good firms is their people and the new talent that is coming through.  This 6 session course covers:

    • An Introduction to Business Development

    • Establishing a personal brand

    • Understanding relationships

    • Preparing for a networking event

    • Practising networking

    • Understanding follow ups

  • We suspect that none of your team wants to be a LinkedIn influencer or would be seen dead taking selfies ‘for the gram.’ We don’t want them to be either. Instead, we want to help them have a strong online presence targeting possible clients or referrers so that when a piece of work comes up their name is at the top of the list to call.

  • Forbes magazine reported that 77% of consumers prefer to buy from a brand they recognise. What about your personal brand? As we always say, people buy from people so it is important to have a strong brand of your own in your chosen industry. To get to your location you need to assess where you currently are, what’s working and what isn’t so you know what tactics you need to keep and which ones can be sent directly to the bin. We can help analyse your current marketing plan (if you have one!), review where you work is coming from, and make a recommendation on what to do next.

Contracting


Donaghey & Chance works with a select number of clients to assist their marketing and business development teams during times of staff illness, in between hires or for additional support on special projects.
